Common cat problem
Couple of days ago, when I walked Ginger in my yard, I noticed some rice-like worms in her poo. I was pretty worried. She’s still a baby, and it made me wonder if her big belly was full of worms. After searching for solutions, I found out that a store in a nearby city sells dewormers, so I went there yesterday to buy some.
The shopkeeper recommended one called Revolution PLUS. It’s a liquid treatment that I need to apply to the back of her neck. It helps remove different kinds of bugs (ticks, fleas, etc.) and also targets internal worms. I also bought a pill-form dewormer, just in case the liquid one is more for prevention. Now I just need to wait a week to see if I can still find those “rice grains” in her poo.
It’s a common problem for cats and dogs to get worms. When they clean themselves, they might ingest flea larvae, which can lead to worms growing inside their bodies. But when I brush Ginger, I barely see any fleas or bugs at all. Still, I’ll give her a dewormer every three months. I just hope she stays healthy and happy.
But yesterday she accidentally scratched me again. This baby really needs to control her temper.
