Sunday Surprises: Yard Work, Cat Chaos, and Midnight Visitors

The yard work continued today even though it’s Sunday. Initially, I thought they would take a break — and honestly, I hoped for one too. But I guess they have another job waiting, so they kept going. Once they finish, I might finally get a short rest before I start painting the wall.

Ginger came back earlier than yesterday, but I have no idea what she ate during the night. She had diarrhoea again, and this time she 💩 on the floor. That made me very angry 😠. I think she peed first in the litter box, but maybe she found it too dirty afterward, so she 💩 somewhere else. I lost my temper again — I gave her a smack on the bum and put her outside. With the workers around, she hid herself somewhere. Part of the yard work includes building a sand pit for Ginger to do her business outside. After I told the mason what happened, he built it immediately.

To my surprise, Ginger brought Robyne back for dinner last night before she ate. But Cross was missing again. I waited and waited, but he didn’t show up. I usually sleep around 01:30, but with the workers arriving at 07:30, I need to wake up at least 40 minutes earlier. I was exhausted last night and went to bed around 23:30. This morning, I checked the CCTV and saw that Cross came after midnight. Poor little Cross had no food for the whole day. I hope he didn’t eat rubbish outside and make himself sick. I’ll try to look for him as soon as the workers leave.
